Exploitable Outcomes

Full VERSO

The complete automatized solution composed by the portable actuator(s) and/or supportive robotic system(s). The development of the hardware itself (robotic system) is not part of the KAVA activity. This solution is based on the VERSO system with the following optional added features:
• A robot is used to pick and place the VERSO hardware in the different zones of interest on the workpiece to be machined.
• A robot is used to assist the VERSO device by supporting specific areas of very slender workpieces which cannot be completely dampened by the VERSO actuator.
• Two or more VERSO devices are used simultaneously to address different workpiece flexible vibration modes.

Lite VERSO

Stand alone solution based on the active damping system and intended for more traditional machining processes, in which the hardware can be moved from one workpiece zone to another or from one workpiece to another.

APP Collection

The sensors collect data related to the process which is sent to the controller. This controller process the data in real-time and sends back a command to the actuator in order to act on the part and improve the process through 4 different advanced functionalities or applications: - VERSOdamp
